About I.G.K.C.

Hey everyone. I'm a comic collector and enthusiast just like you all. I've been buying and selling (more buying than selling), and using ebay primarily for the last few years. My love for books goes way back, though, buying books at the local stores and conventions where I grew up, in Toronto, Canada.

As a 13-year old, I was on vacation in Florida and visited a local flea market with my family and saw a booth where the owner was selling a superman #1 for $100! Of course, I thought I had hit the jackpot and bought the book. You know where this story is headed ---- the book was the oversized reprint, not the real McCoy! But it didn't matter, I had bought and studied an Overstreet guide at that point and had the bug. Funny though, my dad still won't let me live down that Supe 1 purchase, not even decades later!

By the time I was 18 years old, I owned a Journey Into Mystery #83, Spider-man #1, and a bunch of early Justice League Of America issues (my favorite series to this day!). I started setting up at my local Sportscard and comic book shows and loved it! But life eventually moved on and I focused on school and other areas, ultimately growing apart from Comics. I sold most of my books at that time.........hey, a college age boy needs cash flow!!

Fast forward 15 years or so, and I came across an auction for a Spidey 1 cgc 6.5 - and fell in love. The rest, as they say, was history, as I re-entered the hobby, fast and furious!

I'm setting up this site as a place where people can find those key books they're looking for - and I'm always looking to meet new fellow enthusiasts! Please don't be shy, send over want lists, ideas for bettering the site, etc., would love to hear from you.

I live outside Atlanta, GA with my beautiful wife, and three children (two daughters and a son). Comics is only a part-time thing for me, but I love it, and pride myself on three core values -

1) Quality (and expansive) inventory of key books from the Gold and Silver ages (though i'll stock books from all eras)
2) Highest level of professionalism and respect; and
3) Unmatched client service, including offering my customers as much flexibility as I can

If you're looking for key books to fill your collection and/or to diversify your portfolio with solid investments, then I'm your guy!! I've got great inventory, always willing to consider trade, time payments, and other flexible arrangements!

Have a look, and let's talk. Look forward to it!
